Description
Not legal for sale or use in California or on any pollution controlled vehicles.
The main difference between the Twin Tuner and the Twin Tuner II –> Twin Tuner II also allows you to retard ignition timing to match the requirements on high performance heads, cams or exhaust.
The Twin Tuner II allows you to easily adjust your fuel injection and ignition to match the requirements of performance parts including high compression pistons/heads, camshafts, free flowing exhausts, and low restriction air filters. You can add or subtract fuel (up to +30% or down to -20%) and retard spark timing up to 10 degrees.
The user interface consists of up/down pushbuttons and a bright daylight readable LED display to select and change the fuel trim and spark retard in the RPM and throttle position ranges required by most applications. The Twin Tuner II also has an advanced mode, where you can use the optional USB Interface and PC Link Tuner software to make precise fuel and spark retard adjustments. You can make independent adjustments to the front and rear cylinders.
The Twin Tuner works great in combination with the Daytona Sensors Twin Scan II Plus tuning aid (more details below). You don’t need a dyno for precise tuning. All you have to do is install the Twin Scan with WEGO and ride the bike around on a closed course or race track. The Twin Scan software will do the rest.

Great Value
We believe that the Twin Tuner II offers one of the best value on the market today. Take a close look at the table below and decide for yourself.
Easy Installation
Installation takes only 10-15 minutes. The install does not require splicing or cutting wires. Installation requires you to remove pins at the Delphi® ECM. The pictures below show a typical installation for a 36 pin Delphi® ECM. Installation on 2008-2013 touring models with 73 pin Delphi® ECM is similar, but different connectors are used. Refer to the instruction sheets for these models for more details. No special tools are required. Just disassemble the ECM connector using a small flat screwdriver as shown below, remove seven wires from the ECM connector, insert these wires into our small mating connector, insert seven new wires from the Twin Tuner II into the ECM connector, and connect one ground wire. The unit is completely encapsulated and impervious to moisture. With a very low profile of only ½” and occupying a fraction of the space required by competitive products, you won’t have a problem finding a place to mount the unit.

Basic Tuning
The Twin Tuner II uses up/down pushbuttons and a LED display to select and change the fuel trim and spark retard parameters listed in the tables below. Note that the LED flashes to indicate negative values. You can make changes on-the-fly with the engine running.

9 | Decel above 1250 RPM and less than 2.5% TPS |
10 | Acceleration enrichment (0 = none, 10 = maximum) |
Twin Tuner II Spark Retard
Parameter | Ignition Retard Operating Range |
11 | Idle 750-1250 RPM 0% TPS |
12 | Low cruise 1250-2000 RPM 2.5-50% TPS |
13 | High cruise 2000-3750 RPM 2.5-50% TPS |
14 | Wide open throttle 1250-2000 RPM 50-100% TPS |
15 | Wide open throttle 2000-2750 RPM 50-100% TPS |
16 | Wide open throttle 2750-3750 RPM 50-100% TPS |

18 | Wide open throttle above 4750 RPM 50-100% TPS |
19 | Decel above 1250 RPM and less than 2.5% TPS |
The tables above show the engine operating ranges affected by fuel trim and spark retard values in terms of RPM and throttle position sensor (TPS) values for Twin Cam and Sportster® versions. RPM ranges are extended for the V-Rod„¢ version. To properly tune an engine, you need to know what fuel trim and ignition retard values are required. Tuning guidelines and recommended initial settings for common applications are given on the Twin Tuner Tech FAQ.
Advanced Mode
The Twin Tuner II also has an advanced mode, where you can use the optional USB interface and Windows software to check and observe system operation (Tuner Log) and make precise fuel and spark retard adjustments (PC Link Tuner). Setup files are available for common applications.

PC Link Tuner Software Install
PC Link software runs under Microsoft Windows XP/Vista/7/8/10/11. We no longer support older Windows versions. PC Link allows the user to program all the parameters, fuel trim tables, and the spark retard table within the Twin Tuner II. Minimum PC requirement is a 300 MHz Pentium with super VGA display (SVGA with 1024 x 768 pixel resolution). The Twin Tuner II connects to the PC by means of an optional USB interface (P/N USB-INTF). This USB interface also works with all Daytona Twin Tec engine controls (ignition and fuel injection systems). The PC must have a free USB port. Before the engine is started, you can download or upload data with PC Link.
You can edit various tables and parameters. 3D tables are used for front and rear cylinder fuel trim and spark retard. 3D tables are accompanied by chart displays that help visualize the data. You can print the data associated with an active table or Twin Tuner II parameters by using the appropriate Print command from the File menu. You can open and save tuning files to disk.
Data Export and Import by Means of Copy and Paste
You might want to export or import 3D table data to or from another application such as Microsoft Excel and other programs with tables that support copy and paste operations. You can directly copy and paste data to and from the PC Link Tuner program. In the PC Link Tuner program, you can select a range of cells with the mouse and right click to bring up a copy and paste menu. When you paste data into the PC Link Tuner program, the data is automatically checked and any out-of-range data corrected.
PC Link software is free! You can always download the latest version of the software and instruction sheet from our website. The software will run in demo mode without a Twin Tuner II system attached. For your convenience, we include all of our software online for you to download at anytime. Refer to the links above or go to our software page.
Using the Twin Scan II Plus Tuning Aid
The Twin Scan can be a complete kit for engine diagnostics and tuning on Harley-Davidson® motorcycles with Delphi® fuel injection. It can include a WEGO IIID dual channel wide-band oxygen sensor system for logging front and rear cylinder air/fuel ratio (AFR) data along with engine data. In addition to use with the Twin Tuner, the Twin Scan can also be used as a tuning aid for Screamin Eagle® Pro Super Tuner, Screamin Eagle® Race Tuner (SERT), and Dynojet® Power Commander® systems. Twin Scan software analyzes logged data and displays AFR and the required fuel correction (in percent) with the same RPM rows and throttle position sensor (TPS) or manifold pressure (MAP) columns used in Super Tuner, Power Commander®, and Twin Tuner tables. When used with the Twin Tuner, you can directly export calculated fuel correction data to Twin Tuner data files. The system can be used for tuning on a dyno or under actual riding conditions on a closed course or race track.
Tuner Log Sofware Install
When the engine is running, you can display real time engine data on an instrument panel type screen by using the View Real Time Data command on the View menu.
You can also check proper operation of the throttle position sensor (TPS) when the run/stop switch is on (engine not running). Rotate the throttle through the full range of motion. The TPS% value should go from zero to 100%.
Real time engine data is displayed on an instrument panel type layout with a round tach gauge and bar graph type gauges for all other parameters. Status messages are displayed in a separate window.
Tuner Log software is free! You can always download the latest version of the software and instruction sheet from our website. The software will run in demo mode without a Twin Tuner II system attached. For your convenience, we include all of our software online for you to download at anytime. Refer to the links above or go to our software page.
