3005-IH – Special Kit for 1999-2003 American IronHorse® Motorcycles

Ignition Kit includes: special Model 1005-IH ignition module, timing rotor, VOES switch kit (ARB E.O. No. D-641-3), and two – 3 ohm mini coils (ARB E.O. No. D-641-2).

American IronHorse® motorcycles manufactured through 2003 originally used a non-adjustable camshaft sensor based ignition system manufactured in England by Gill.

Upgrade your ignition to our special 1005-IH version of our proven 1005 series internal ignition.

This kit is designed so you can easily retrofit the 1005-IH module to 2003 and earlier American IronHorse® models. The Model 1005-IH also has a special tach output that will correctly drive the American IronHorse® instrument cluster.

Note: for 2004-2005 American IronHorse models with crankshaft position sensor, we recommend our p/n 1009-IH system.

Our P/N 3005-IH Kit includes the special Model 1005-IH ignition, timing rotor, VOES switch and requires two mini-coils (pn 2006 – 3 ohm) that are used to replace the stock IronHorse low resistance Gill coils, and all required electrical terminals.
